How to decide between two equal options

Occasionally you’re going to be faced with a dilemma. A choice of two where you can only have one.

It might be which pair of shoes you buy, a situation where you could go out with one of two girls/boys and can’t decide who, or even something such as what meal to order.

You can tie yourself up in knots if you don’t watch it, trying to make the right decision.

Here’s a solution, a way through your mental confusion.

Toss a coin.

Now it is not whether it turns up heads or tails that is important.

What you should closely monitor about yourself is…yourself.

As the coin is tossed, what is it you are hoping for?

That gut feel, that ‘what the heart wants’ (since you’ve not been able to ‘head-decide’) at that moment will more than likely be the way you should go.

As a way of tapping into your subconscious, this method has a lot going for it.

(I only wish someone had told me about it a long time ago – it would’ve saved me some of those ‘what the hell should I do’ decisions).
